A Day In The Ice Base
It has been several days since we arrived at the Ice Base, We had been following the daily routines. Which it had been pretty tough to follow throughout the day because there were abounding tasks to be done. Therefore the weather there has also been harsh which was one of the causes that made the day rough. We had been trying to research the climate change, the amount of carbon dioxide in the Arctic. The result of the investigation surprised me the most! The world’s pollution is doubling each year. The first we did when we woke up was to have a breakfast and a time to relax because the rest of the day was going to be though. We then separated into two groups one was digging a hole deep down into the ice and capture planktons to investigate. Currently, we are studying the surface layer of the Arctic ocean, we believe that there is potential that there is something there that is the key for us to understand the changes at are happening to our Earth. Scientist and young ambassador are working with their full ability trying to come up with a conclusion we could rely on. We need as many helping hands as we can get to help save our planet.
