The Accident

It has been over 2 days since we had a constant storm, until today was the ideal day we will travel. It was our only opportunity to meet the explorer team, I was glad to meet the explorer team. Dr. Katastropha asked my team to join him on this trip. I haven't been outside Ice Base since I've arrived and I've been waiting for this opportunity. Finally, a real adventure.

We got ready geared up with skiing equipment like going to war as a soldier, We were all ready and set to go. Soon we were gliding through the snow with the Ice Base far behind, we could see only chunks of it. The sky turned grey, it’s gives the tension of fear. The wind started blowing at us constantly which makes it hard to go through. I couldn’t see a thing in the distant, not even a meter. But the next thing I felt was pain. “Ouch” A loud sound came out of nowhere, I rolled my eyes to the left but there was nothing and I turned my body to the right and there lying wasDr. Katastropha.

I turned left and right to see what others thought of this situation, they seemed confused and every single eye was staring at me like an eagle looking at it’s prey. This meant that nobody knew what to do, so I needed to take charge. The wind was still blowing hard stiffly and you couldn’t see a thing in the distance not even the Ice Base or any mountains, Only plain white fluffy snow to be seen in the distance. The wind seems to be endless, which made me feel pressured and made me feel uncomfortable. I know that everyone was depending on me, so It made me think even more about the best options to take. I finally came up with a plan which we were gonna set a camp there and wait for the rescue. I felt that I made a correct decision because you wouldn’t want to leave a doctor just in snow, so we made a camp and stayed for the night.
